I’m so excited to share this in-home newborn photography session with you today! The Marti Family reached out to me to capture images of their sweet family as they knew this sweet stage only lasts for so long. Mckenna is three months old and I treated this session like any other newborn session. For all my newborn sessions, I give parents the option for me to wrap their infant with a white wrap. This gives them the sweet and innocent photos of their newborn asleep, while getting close ups of their hands, feet, and all little features. It is so beautiful to have the first couple of weeks or months of your newborn captured, so you will always remember how they once were.
Newborn Photography Session
The Marti Family was so welcoming and kind from the moment I stepped into their home. Sarah was a bridesmaid from a past Malorie Jane Photography couple, so seeing a familiar face was so great! McKenna was awake and smiling so big. While I was getting set up, I could hear sweet McKenna saying “Mama” upstairs, it just melted my heart.
We started out the session with capturing lifestyle moments of McKenna and her parents while she was awake and enjoying all the snuggles and kisses. McKenna soon got sleepy during our session and it was great timing to get her wrapped up in my white wrap that I brought with for the session. I love bringing my bean bag set and wraps as an option for parents, it is a way for me to capture your newborn individually and get all the little details.
To the Marti Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so darling and it was great getting to know your family. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
Enjoy this little peek into the sweet newborn session!
