I’m so excited to share this in-home newborn family session with you today! When the Eichten Family reached out about newborn photos, I just couldn’t wait for their little boy, Crew, to arrive! Mckayla and Tom are also a Malorie Jane Wedding Couple and will be getting married in June of 2023. There is something special when wedding couples have you for their newborn sessions, too. This is so sweet to me because I get the opportunity to document all the sweetest moments in their lives.

In-home Newborn Session

I have already documented Mckayla and Tom’s engagement session and pregnancy announcement, so it felt like I was just heading over to a friend’s house to meet their little love. The weather was a sunny, cold winter January day, which made it perfect for all the beautiful, natural light coming into their home. A sweet moment that happened during this session was getting a picture of the Eichten Family dogs and their sweet baby together because like Mckayla stated she has three babies.

Some of my favorite photographs that I captured was when Mckayla is snuggling up to her sweet boy. With having an 7 month old boy myself, those moments are just to die for! Another favorite picture I captured was Crew laying in his bassinet that is Grandfather made. At the end of the session, Mckayla and Tom are so incredible sweet and gave me Dunkin’ Donuts for the ride home, of course it was the best!
