I’m so excited to share this Edina Minnesota Pregnancy Announcement session with you today!! This pregnancy announcement was a special surprise to me from the moment I showed up to Mckayla and Tom’s session. Mckayla and Tom are a MJP wedding couple and we planned to have their engagement session at Centennial Lakes Park and Arneson Acres Park in Edina, Minnesota. I had zero idea this engagement session was also going to be a fun pregnancy announcement! Before we started their session, we were talking to each other about what is new and Tom pulled an ultrasound out of his bag. OH MY GOODNESS was I excited for them!! I could not help but smile the entire time for their BIG news!!!

Arneson Acres Park Pregnancy Announcement | Edina MN

When Mckayla and Tom told me the news, I was so happy to hear that Mckayla was feeling wonderful! At this time, I was also pregnant with my son, so we had lots to chat about! The weather for this session was absolutely beautiful and the sun was shining for their June session. We started out their session at Centennial Lakes Park and ended at Arneson Acres Park. We met Mckayla and Tom’s friends at Arneson Acres Park to get pictures of them with their two dogs, Winnie and Willow. If you are someone who wants to have your dogs involved in pictures, DO IT! I always highly recommend having someone with you at your session to take care of your dogs or have someone drop off your dogs at the end of your session to use your engagement session time wisely .

Fast forward 9 months, Mckayla and Tom asked me to capture their newborn pictures of their new family of three. They welcomed their adorable son, Crew. Here is their beautiful in-home newborn session!
