Dana and Zach’s Fall Capitol Room Wedding took place on a warm October Saturday. The weather was incredible for a fall day in Minnesota. The sun was shining and you did not need a jacket outside. From the very beginning, it was beyond joyous. Some happy tears were shed as Dana was going to marry the man of her dreams. The staff at The Capitol Room were fantastic. They were very attentive and helpful not only to the couple, but to their family, friends, and all vendors. I could not have been more thankful to have the opportunity to work with such a wonderful team to celebrate Dana and Zach’s wedding day.

I have known Dana and Zach’s relationship from the very beginning. Dana and I started dance classes together at Dance Express when we were four. I, of course, am not good at dancing. I quit later on. However, Dana continued her passion with dance throughout her high school career and is a dance instructor. Dana and I grew up together and later became roommates while attending Mankato State University. We would go work out at Planet Fitness in the mornings and noticed a man named Zach working there. Dana definitely had her eyes on him. Months later, Zach and Dana started to form an amazing relationship. It has continued to grow for the last 5 years.

These two are truly each other’s match. Being able to capture one of their life’s biggest milestones was truly something I will not forget. Seeing my best friend marry Zach and be a part of all the planning was quite incredible. Looking at all their wedding day images, I couldn’t help but smile. You can feel the joy jumping out of every image.

The most emotional moment of the day was when Dana walked down the aisle. She held onto her dad as he gave her away. Dana and Zach both had tears flowing as they were about to make a lifelong commitment to each other. I will also never forget this wedding’s father, daughter dance because it was such a funny surprise to all. Dana and her dad coordinated a dance together. They started out slow dancing, but then busted out to a hip-hop song, “I Got it from My Daddy.” It was beyond hilarious and got the crowd going!
